– Grady’s junior varsity Wildcats took on Sands last week in district competition.
The Wildcats used a big first half to propel them to victory. Grady took an early 17-11 lead and increased their advantage to 26-13 by halftime.
Sands outscored Grady in both the third and fourth quarters but could not overcome the huge deficit giving Grady the 42-32 victory.
