MIDLAND - Ramona Sanchez Dominguez, 86 of Midland, died on Jan. 31, 2023.
She was born on Nov. 22, 1936, to Nicolas and Jesus (Chuy) Sanchez in Midland. On Oct. 24, 1953, she married the love of her life Luis Dominguez in Stanton and went on to have five children.
She was a member of the Guadalupanas and loved spending time with her family, especially the great great grandchildren. She enjoyed going to estate sales but her all-time favorite was playing Bingo.
She is survived by her sister Carmen Ochoa (Oscar) and brother Nick Sanchez (Sylvia) both of Midland; son Louis Dominguez Jr (Anna) of Midland and son Ricky Dominguez (Billie-Ann) of Big Spring; daughter Emelda Dominguez (John) of Midland; eight grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren on the way and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Luis Dominguez, son Leno, daughter and son-inlaw Susana and Armando Rios, brother Rudolfo Sanchez and two great great granddaughters Ava Alvarez and Jasiah Belloc.
Rosary was Feb. 6, at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin funeral home. Funeral was Feb. 7, at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Burial followed at Serenity.
Pallbearers were Rodney Warren, Kristofor Warren, Louis Dominguez IV, Zackariah Acosta, Gabriel Acosta and Joshua Belloc. Honorary pallbearers are Sonny Larez, Johnny Ortega, Nicky Sanchez III, Oscar (Boy) Ochoa, Eric Ochoa and Sammy Sanchez.
