ACKERLY – Grady and Sands competed in junior high basketball action on Monday and it was an exciting contest.
Sands used a big first quarter to take a 6-2 lead and Grady cut the advantage to 8-6 at halftime.
Third and fourth quarter action was even with both teams scoring seven points earning Sands a 15-13 victory.
