Garden City ready for new season, coach Fryar to lead football program

- The Garden City Bearkats took the field Monday for the first football practices of the new season.
A total of 17 players showed up for the first week of practices with a couple more expected to come out once the school year begins. Seven of those are seniors.
Not new to the program but is in new position is head coach Clayton Fryar.
