– Track teams from District11 converged on Robert Lee High School last week for the district track meet. Both Garden City teams finished second in the overall standings.Gold medal winners were Ella Braden, Miles Colunga, Levi Easterling, and Texas Brinkley.

– The Garden City golf teams were in Abilene for District.The Lady Kats were the best team on the course taking the title with a total of 382372-754 Veribest being the second place team with 804 strokes and Bronte coming in third with a total of 1166.

– The Stanton High School track teams were in Denver City last week for the District 3-3A Track Meet.Varsity athletes placing in the top four advance to the Area meet in Denver City on Apr. 10. The Area meet will be a combination of top four finishers from District 3 and District 4.
