Bearkats qualify 22 forArea track meet

The Garden City Bearkats were in Blackwell on Apr. 5 to compete in the Class A - District 11 track meet at Blackwell High School.The Bearkats had a big day qualifying numerous athletes for the Area Track meet.

Lady Kats crowned district champs, Bearkats finish second to qualify for Regional

SAN ANGELO - The Bearkats and Lady Kats competed in the first round of district golf last week at Bentwood Country Club and finished the second round on Monday at Quicksand Golf Course.The girls won the team championship with a total of 793 strokes. Second place was Veribest with a total of 868.
