Silva leads Stanton at regional cross country meet

– The Stanton girls wrapped up their season at the Region I-3A Cross-Country Championships at Mae Simmons Park on Monday. The Lady Buffaloes finished 21st as a team and were led by sophomore Aubry Silva, who finished 66th individually in a time of 14 minutes, 11.6 seconds.

GRADY - In Friday's District 7A DI match, the visiting Sands Mustangs football squad scored a good 62-54 victory over the Grady Wildcats. The Mustangs jumped out to an early 40-6 lead and went into the locker rooms up 48-20.

STANTON – The Stanton Buffaloes season is on the verge of collapse following its District 3A DII loss to Littlefield Friday night at Buffalo Stadium in Stanton. The Wildcats football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Stanton to seven in the Wildcats league victory.

- Stanton High School cross country teams had 10 personal bests out of 14 runners last week at Odessa. The Buffaloes look to be running their best times of the season just in time for District and Regionals.
