Martin County Hospital District begins Emergency Department expansion project

STANTON – Martin County Hospital District has officially begun construction on a major expansion of its Emergency Department, marking another significant investment in the future of healthcare for Martin County and the surrounding communities.
Cash Jennings, his wife, Lindsey, and their four children have made Grady home since Jennings joined the district as assistant superintendent last year. Jennings officially became superintendent in March.

Museum windmills receive repairs

STANTON - The Martin County Historical Museum’s two historic windmills recently received repairs to help preserve two of the county’s most recognizable landmarks.New wooden blades were installed on the Standard windmill at the museum in Stanton and the Eclipse windmill at the nearby Connell House.
