The duo entered a soup, Cheesey Chicken Santa Fe Soup, for the Martin County Senior Citizens Center and won “Best Tasting Soup” by guest judges, “Second Place Soup” by public vote, and “Co-Best Decorated Table”.

Glasscock County releases Jan. Stats
Glasscock County
– The Glasscock County Sheriff’s Office has released the stats for the month of January 2025.Officers responded to 39 calls for services and handed out 328 citations. School zone violations more than doubled this month.

Martin County Expo Center Closer to Completion
Martin County
Construction on the Martin County Expo Center is closer to reaching the finish line, with several major components of the project approaching completion. According to Martin County Commissioner Kenny Stewart, the community center is about 90% complete, with crews beginning a ‘deep cleaning’ process.
