New Welcome to Stanton signs go up ahead of centennial celebration
A fresh welcome for Stanton. The two Welcome to Stanton signs along I-20, one on the east side of town and one on the west side, were replaced last week ahead of the city's centennial celebration. The updated design keeps much of the familiar look while adding recognition for all of Stanton's state champions.

The signs were installed last week by Lone Star Signs. Smaller pieces were put up Wednesday, and the installation was finished Thursday, just in time for Stanton's centennial celebration.
