MISSOURI CITY - Joyce Booe, 81, of Missouri City, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2020. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 pm Feb., 2, at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Feb. 1 at Ajuua's Restaurant 3205 W. Cuthbert Ave. Midland.
She was born Apr. 16, 1938, in Oklahoma and married Alvin Ray Booe in Seminole. He preceded her in death.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, who never met a stranger. She was the type of person who would welcome people into her life with open arms, and treat them like family. She was a giving person who would take time to help do, and provide for others without question, hesitation, or expectation.
Survivors include one son, Ritchie Booe Sr. of Stafford, Mariah Booe of Missouri City, and Ritchie Booe Jr., of Missouri City.
She was preceded in death by her son, Allen H. Booe
The family is requesting no flowers be sent, instead donations be made to Alz.org.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton, Texas.
