STANTON - Aida Estrada Rodriguez passed away peacefully on the evening of Aug. 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, to be with our Lord.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, aunt and friend to many. Aida was known for her playful, joking and outspoken personality. There was never a dull moment in her presence, and she always knew how to make people smile and laugh.
She worked many years at Rosa’s Cafe, where she gained another family of friends. For many years she was her husband’s and sons’ biggest fan, supporting their musical endeavors and attending their concerts and practice sessions. Her greatest blessing was her family, whom she loved and supported fiercely.
She enjoyed trips to Mexico to visit family and go shopping, family vacations to Colorado City Lake, a good card game, a round of loteria, and making chocolate milk each day for her youngest. Those who knew her knew she almost always had two things close by; a Marlboro cigarette and a biscochos cookie.
The family finds peace in knowing she is now rejoicing and dancing in Heaven with her soulmate, her husband Jose.
