STANTON - Elisa M. Aguirre died July 17, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 10, 1937, to the late Daniel Marquez Sr. and Rosa Marquez.
She worked for Martin County Hospital for many years. She was an amazing mother of eight children. She loved being around family and friends and always having a good time. She will be missed tremendously.
Visitation was July 21 and rosary was recited at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were July 22 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Stanton.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Rosemary Aguirre, Norma Aguirre, Lee Ann Aguirre; sons, Felix Aguirre Jr, Emileo Aguirre, Mario Aguirre, Mark Aguirre; sisters, Marylou Sotelo, Margie Flores; brothers, Jesus Marquez, Cleto Marquez, Anastacio Marquez, Andres Marquez, Manuel Marquez, Joe Luis Marquez, Lorenzo Marquez Sr; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Marquez; father, Daniel Marquez son Cruz Aguirre; grandson Jacob Aguirre; great grandsons, Ayden Aguirre, Jay Anthony Aguirre, Kalel Aguirre; sister, Leonor Urbina; brothers, Miguel Marquez, Augustine Marquez, Macario Marquez, Daniel “Nene” Marquez, Timo Marquez, and Raymond Marquez.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the services were limited to family only.
Arrangements were under the direction of Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
