Lorenza Samora

STANTON - Lorenza Samora of Stanton, died July 29, 2020.

She was born Nov. 7, 1946 in Marfa.

She loved to sew, that was one of her greatest hobbies, and was famous for her pound cake.

Visitation and rosary were July 30, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were July 31, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mauro and Paula Sotelo; daughter, Cruz Villa; brothers, Maximo Sotelo, Polo Sotelo, Valentino Sotelo, Frank Sotelo; sisters, Elidia Chapa, Manuela Rodriguez, and Cruz Sotelo.

She is survived by her daughters, Carmen Estrada, Viola Villareal, Veronica Perez, Nancy Villa; sons, Henry Villa, Luis Villa, Rene Samora, Richard Villa, and Lawrence Villa.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the services were limited to family only.

Arrangements were under the direction of Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
