Lloyd Brown, age 63, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 17, 2025 peacefully in his home in Stanton. Lloyd was born to Winnet and Nathaniel Brown of Stanton on Nov. 7, 1961, in Big Spring.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary Aguirre of Stanton and their family; Anthony Hignojos, Leah Carrasco, Nathaniel Carrasco and Nikki Garcia; mother Winnet Brown of Stanton; sisters Audry Brown of Fort Worth, Della Applewhite of Tampa, Florida, Teresa Gandy of Tatum, New Mexico; brothers Bobby Brown of Oakland, California, Vernon Brown and Elvin Brown both of Midland as well as many other extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death is his father Nathaniel Brown and sister Erma Brown.
He leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and treasured memories with family and friends. His quick humor and knack for telling jokes brought joy to everyone around him, a skilled honed from an early age and shared generously throughout his life.
Lloyd had a love for sports, especially football and basketball, but his greatest joy was fishing; a tradition passed down from his father. He could spend hours by the water, patiently casting his line and finding serenity in the quiet moments of nature.
Though he is no longer with us, his memory will remain in our hearts, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
