– The Garden City Bearkats Class A state playoffs run continued last week with two more victories. The first was the Area Championship over Rankin at Greenwood High School on Friday and the second win was the Region II Semi-Final over Hamlin at Ira High School on Tuesday.
If there was ever a perfect game plan concocted, Garden City coach Brad Hall designed it last Friday against Rankin.
