Stanton first grader performs heroic act saving grandfather’s life
The Stanton High School Spanish Club won the Best Tasting Soup with their pozole at the 34th Annual Great Texas Soup Cookoff as voted on by the guest judges. Prestyn Borgstedt exhibited the Champion Hereford at the San Antonio Livestock Market Steer Show. She had the opportunity to present her steer, Stevie, during the Grand Drive during the Friday Rodeo. She also participated in the Youth Auction. Stevie was raised by Jody and DeAnn Yates from Tarzan.
