STANTON - Cash Corbell of Stanton, went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 39 on Aug. 19, 2026.
Cash was born to Terri and Toby Corbell on June 30, 1987. He was an energetic little boy who was happiest with mud on his boots and a fishing pole in his hand. He was a boy who could test your last nerve and win your whole heart in the same minute.
Cash met his wife, Shelby, in middle school in Jayton. They dated for one year, and he swore that his red hair and bangs stole her heart. After moving away, they reunited ten years later in Lubbock. He never left her side after they reconnected. They married on Sept. 21, 2013, and brought a beautiful baby girl, Scarlett, into the world on Aug. 22, 2015. He worked relentlessly and tirelessly in the oil business to provide a life that he felt his girls deserved. Together they built the beautiful life that they had dreamt of.
Cash never met a stranger. He loved to talk and laugh. He was a master storyteller and gave his family a lifetime of entertainment. He was genuine, kind, and completely selfless. He left his beautiful spirit to his baby girl.
Loved beyond words. Missed beyond measure. He is survived by his wife and daughter, Shelby and Scarlett; his mother Terri; his sister Cacee; father-in-law Sam Whitley (Audrey); his brother-in-law Brody Whitley (Nicole); his nephews, Jaxon, Lincoln, Riggin, Rifle, Chuter; and nieces, Gillian, Libby and Rilee, along with countless family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Toby Corbell, and his grandparents, A.D. (Dulane), Bobbie Leonard, and his mother-in-law Stacie Kidd.
A viewing was Aug. 23, at Nelly Pickle Welch in Big Spring. A memorial service was Aug. 24, at First Baptist Church in Stanton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Firesky Recovery in Lubbock.
