ODESSA - Susie Madrid, age 76 of Odessa, died Nov. 4, 2020. She was born in Fort Davis, Mar. 8, 1944, to the late Blas and Francisca (Hartnett) Rodriguez. She worked as a dietician for ECISD.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her husband Gregorio Madrid of Odessa; three daughters Delma Madrid Garcia (John Garcia) of Alpine, Cynthia Madrid of San Angelo, and Francis Madrid (Luis Molina) of Odessa; son Fabian Aguirre (Yadira Estrada) of Odessa; brother Robert Rodriguez of El Paso; sister Martha Martinez of Odessa; and grandchildren Stephen Anaya of Stanton, A. J. Anaya of Odessa, Derek Nix, Daniel Madrid, and Gracie Diaz of San Angelo, Serenity Medina, and Jesus and Auden Villa of Odessa.
In addition to her parents, her daughter Gracie Madrid; brothers Charlie and Tomas Rodriguez; sisters Katherine Dutchover and Arcelia Marquez and grandson Michael Villa, all preceded her in death.
Rosary was recited Nov. 8, at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass was Nov. 9, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
