KINGSLAND - Lois Fay Robinson, 73, of Kingsland, died Dec. 13, 2020. She was born to James and Vedith (Curtis) Simpson on Mar. 11, 1947 in Berryville, Arkansas.
Fay’s family moved from Arkansas to the great state of Texas when she was very young. They lived in Stanton and Greenwood before settling in Midkiff. While living in Midkiff, she attended Big Lake High School where she graduated in 1965. After graduation, she worked for J.C. Penny and later Midland National Bank. She married the love of her life, Loren Robinson in 1968 in Midland, shortly before he was sent to Vietnam.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Loren Robinson; children, Sharla Leeds and husband Richard of Houston, and Brian Robinson and wife Patti of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Justin Leeds, Jeramy Leeds, A.J. Leeds, Tanna Leeds, Kenneth Hinton, Samantha Rawls, Jessica Gilson, Cody Robinson, and Brianna Robinson. She also leaves behind one brother, Glen Simpson, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
A memorial service will be Dec. 18 at 11am at the Kingsland Community Church in Kingsland, with Dr. Phil Hoyer officiating.
