ABILENE - John Wayne Parum, 81 of Abilene, died Dec. 18, 2020 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene.
Graveside service was Dec. 23, at Eastlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Early, with Kenneth Reiter officiating.
He was born Aug. 13, 1939 in Wolfe City, to the late Simon Parum and Faye (Crownover) Parum. He married Nelda Yvonne Nichols on Nov. 20, 1959, who preceded him on Jan. 16, 2001.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Nelda Yvonne (Nichols) Parum.
He is survived by his son, Russell Parum of Big Spring; daughters, Terrie Parum of Cross Plains; Ronda Atkins of Palestine; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
