MIDLAND - Billie L. Springer, 91, of Midland, died Mar. 15, 2021. She was born Sept. 17, 1929 in Midland, to Alvah F. and Elizabeth McKee.
She was raised in Midland and graduated from Midland High School. She met and married Hot Springer in 1948 and lived in Midland, Snyder and finally Odessa where she worked at the Model Shop in sales and later as a receptionist at Atlantic Richfield Company. She dearly loved working for ARCO.
She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, her husband, and a sister, Dorothy Hull.
She is survived by son, Mark Springer and his wife Lane of Midland; grandkids, TJ Hale of Midland and Shawna Burch and her husband Justin Burch of Stanton; and great grandchildren, Lanie and Brynn. She enjoyed her two Dachshunds and relaxing at home
She enjoyed her two Dachshunds and relaxing at home prior to an illness causing her to move to the Manor Park facility in Midland.
There will be no visitation or funeral due to Covid-19. There will be a private graveside ceremony at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ASPCA as that was Billie's favorite charity. Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
