STANTON - Cecil Lynn Townley, 81 of Stanton, died Mar. 18, 2021, at his residence. Graveside services were Mar. 20, at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel.

He was born Feb. 13, 1940, in Paducah, to William and Mary Borland Townley. He married Becky Saunders June 1, 1979 in Stanton.
He retired from the City of Stanton after many years of service. He enjoyed roping and tripping steers, playing golf, but most of all loved attending his grandchildren’s events.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Townley of Stanton; three daughters, Valerie Nobles and husband, Kim, of Shallowater, Linda Sifford of Burleson, and Celia Townley of Lampasas; one son, Marty Graham and wife, Susan, of Stanton; one brother, Warren Townley and wife, Nona, of Canyon; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Mike Graham; and a sister, Rita Siegler.
