STANTON - Erik B. Torres, 33 of Stanton, died on June 8, 2021, in Midland.
Erik B. Torres was born in Stanton, to Guillermo and Petra Torres on Oct. 10, 1987. He attended school in Midland. He owned and operated Shine Brighter Mobile Detailing alongside his business partner Erick Hernandez. He also helped his father Guillermo for years in his produce business Monarch Produce.
He loved his family and always had a smile on his face and had a contagious laugh. His nieces and nephews were his world and was their #1 fan. He loved to spend time with them and would always make sure they were doing well in school. He had a big heart and cared about how others were doing and would always be there when you needed his help. He was the rock of our family.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Manuel Bustillos and Maria Rangel Perez.
He is survived by his parents Guillermo Torres and Petra Torres; sisters Ivonivett Perez, Verenice Vasquez, and Camila Torres; brothers Gustavo Torres, Junior Duarte, and Willy Torres; nieces and nephews Adely, Tais, Alondra and Chito Perez, David Anthony and Kailanii Vasquez, Raven and Xavier Torres.
Viewing and rosary were June 16 at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral mass was June 17 at San Miguel Arcangel Catholic Church. Burial followed at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Erick Hernandez, Gustavo Torres, Jesus Perez, David Vasquez, Daniel Torres, Junior Duarte, Jairo Macias, Sammy Martinez, Yoshio Torres, Noe Torres and Jose Garcia.
