BIG SPRING - June Stone, 84, of Big Spring, died July 13, 2021, at her residence.
Funeral service was July 17, at Myers & Smith Chapel with Reverend Doug Shelley officiating. Private burial followed.
She was born June 30, 1937, in Tarzan. She married Bill Stone on Feb. 7, 1981. He died June 5, 2006. She was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by sons Wes Hutchings of Big Spring and Paul Hutchings of Brownwood; grandchildren Derrek, Dakota, and Noelle; sisters Ella Vonne West and Charlene Smith; brother Pat Fortune; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Stone; and her parents Kermit and Vena Fortune.
