SEMINOLE - Memorial services for Philip Russell “Rusty” Stovall, Jr., 56 of Seminole, were Oct. 10, 2021 in the Westside Church of Christ.
He died Sept. 23, 2021 in Sandoval County, New Mexico. Services were under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.
He was born Nov. 13, 1964, in Big Spring to Philip Russell Stovall, Sr. and Margaret Pierce Stovall.
Rusty and Donna Goodall Bingham were married on Nov. 15, 2007 in Lovington, New Mexico. He served in the United States Navy as an Aircraft Maintenance Operator and then worked for Nixx and Naxx Customs for a number of years. He flew all over Central and South America with Drug Enforcement Agents.
He loved the outdoors and in his younger days he surfed and sailed endlessly. He also loved collecting and studying rocks. He would spend many days out and about searching for something interesting to clean and examine.
He was preceded in death by his father Phil Stovall and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Coréne Goodall.
He is survived by his wife Donna Stovall; son Joey Stovall; daughter Jessica Stovall and stepson Blaze Bingham and wife Keely; his mother Margaret Stovall; two sisters Nan Finch and Anne Hamon; along with two grandchildren Nixxon and Maddoxx Bingham and nephew Aaron Corbin and greatnephew Aaron Corbin, Jr.
