STANTON - Mary Arguello Marquez, 80 of Stanton, died on Nov. 24, 2021, at home surrounded by family. Rosary was recited on Nov. 29, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass was Nov. 30, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents Juan Arguello Sr. and Andrea Castilleja Arguello; brothers Lupe, Cruz, and Barney Arguello; sisters Francis Valles, Elisa Marquez, Cleophas Garcia, and Guillerma Minjarez; two great-grand-children Aurora M. Salgado and Angel W. Salinas.
She is survived by her husband, Cleto Marquez of Stanton; daughters Rosandrea Silva and husband Freddie Silva of Graham, and Andrea Marquez Salgado of San Antonio; son Michael Marquez of Andrews; brothers Juan Arguello Jr. of Big Spring, and Isidiro Arguello of Midland; sister Macaria Chavez of Midland; 12 grandchildren Katrina Salgado-Garza, Daniella Marquez, Michael Salgado Jr, Matthew Marquez, John Michael Marquez, Magdalena Marquez, Kristen Marquez, Michael Paul Marquez, Christa Silva-Ortiz, Dominic Cortes Silva, Freddie Nathan Silva, Joaquin Sebastian Silva, Angelina Silva and eight Great Grand Children.
She attended and graduated from Flower Grove High School, she enjoyed attending church, crafting, reading and recently social media. “She will Live on Forever in Our Hearts Always.”
Arrangements were under the direction of Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
