STANTON - Biatris “Betty” Diaz, 64 of Stanton, died Dec. 25, 2021, surrounded by her loving family after battling cancer for twelve years.
She was born Jan. 26, 1957, in Stanton, to Gilbert and Brijida Diaz. Some of the things she enjoyed were gardening, cooking, and dancing.
She is survived by her daughters Sue Pineda and son-in-law Lindy, Tiffany Bradley, and Ashley Bradley; son Joe Galindo and daughter-in-law Sislee; sisters Rosa Torres, Linda Flores, and Amelia Diaz; brothers Carlos Diaz, Robert Diaz, and David Diaz; and nine grandchildren Joe Anthony, Adrian, Sebastian, Malorie, Marrisa, Michelle, Aaron, Bradley and Kaylee.
She is preceded in death by a sister Janie Viscaino, brother Julian Diaz, and good friend Joe Bradley.
Funeral service was Jan. 4, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Following the services a luncheon was held at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church 303 E. Shandon Midland, TX 79705 for family and friends.
