John Michael Vasquez, Jr.
STANTON - John Michael Vasquez Jr, 17, of Stanton, died on Jan. 22, 2023. He was born Jan. 31, 2005, in Midland, to L’E Carrasco and John Michael Vasquez Sr. He was a senior at Stanton High School. He liked to play basketball and play games. He was a wonderful son, grandson, friend and will be missed by many. He is survived by his parents L’E Carrasco and John Michael Vasquez Sr.; sisters Alize Vasquez and Mia Carrasco; brothers Jaymanuel Isiah Vasquez, Matthew Vasquez, Rudy Carrasco, and Nathaniel Carrasco; grandmothers Diana Vasquez and Rosemary Aguirre and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Jaymanuel Vasquez, Daniel Salazar Sr., David Salazar, Michael Vasquez Sr., Pedro Vasquez Jr., and Julio Salinas.
Viewing on Jan. 26, will be from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Jan. 26, at 2 pm at Stanton High School Auditorium. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
