STANTON - Jerry Wayne Anderson, age 56 of Stanton, died on Mar. 16, 2023. Funeral service was Mar. 21 at the First Baptist Church in Stanton. He was born on April 2, 1966, in Big Spring, to Dewey Anderson and Carol Ringener Anderson. He was raised in Stanton and graduated from Stanton High School in 1984. He married and had two daughters. He worked hard to provide for his family devoting over 35 years to Blocker Oil Company and Franklin & Son. He enjoyed spending time out on the patio by the fire pit, grilling burgers, and playing cards. He loved his friends and family dearly, and he could quickly bring a smile with his wit and charm.
He is survived by his daughter Catelyn Anderson of Stanton; daughter Cacey and son-in-law Matthew Ruiz and their three children Devin, Kilyn, and Jett all of Midland; twin brother Terry and his wife Kim Anderson of Midland; brother Jimmy and his wife Liz Anderson of Stanton, as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Carol Anderson, and brother Tommy Anderson.
