STANTON - Mary Ortiz, 77 of Stanton, died Mar. 25, 2023. She was born on Aug. 10, 1945, to Gavino and Rebecca Ortiz in Hebbronville.
She enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. Her family was everything to her. She will be missed by many.
Visitation and rosary were Mar. 28, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was Mar. 29, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Survivors are two daughters Norma Ortiz, M.J. Ortiz, three sons Joe Ortiz, J.J. Ortiz, Carlos Ortiz, brother Gabino Rosa, fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were be Brody Ortiz, Austin Hewtty, Brayden Ortiz, Adrian Salinas, Anthony Cuellar, Tomas Salgado, Xander Cuellar and Tagen Salgado.
Arrangements were entrusted to Stanton Memorial Funeral Home & Chapel.
