James Leslie Hartranft, also known as Buddy, died May 27, 2023 at the age of 47 in Stanton. He was born on August 25, 1975 in Fort Worth. He was known for his contagious laughter and his bigger than life personality. He loved life and his family, and he enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughter, riding motorcycles and Team Anubis Mustang. He had a special bond with his brother Mark and father as they spent a lot of time hunting and fishing together.
He is survived by his wife Kyla Hartranft; his daughter Zoey Hartranft; his father Marcus Hartranft Jr.; his brother and sister-in-law Marcus and Martha Hartranft; his niece Loren Hartranft Perez; and his nephews Nolan Grieve and Steven Grieve and wife Kaitlyn.
He was preceded in death by his mother Easter DeLois Hartranft.
He (Buddy) will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
