BIG SPRING - Maria Guadalupe (Juarez) Durham, 36 of Big Spring, died unexpectedly Oct. 17, 2023. Memorial Services will be held at 10 am, Oct. 24, at Spring Creek Fellowship with Lloyd Wells, officiating.
Maria was born Dec. 9, 1986, to parents Maria Marina and Andres Juarez in Rio Verde, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
She was a graduate of Grady High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Howard College.
She married Carl Durham on June 20, 2009, on Scenic Mountain in Big Spring. She was a wonderful woman, wife and mother and had a servant’s heart. She worked at the Mother’s Day Out Program at Spring Creek Fellowship. Maria modeled a “Christ-like” love for everyone she met and was always willing to forgive no matter what. She was described as an “all around joyful woman.”
She is survived by her husband Carl Durham; three daughters Myra, Lilly, and Jessica and one son Max; two brothers Ernesto Juarez and Andres Juarez, Jr.; three sisters Brenda Juarez, Jasmine Del Angel, and Olga Gonzales; her mother Maria Marina and her father Andres Juarez and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
