MIDLAND - Guadalupe A. Morales Jr, 79 of Tarzan, died Oct. 13, 2023, in Midland. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Oct. 19, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home 906 Gregg Street, Big Spring. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park, 6900 South Hwy 87, Big Spring, Texas.
The family received friends Oct. 18 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
He was born Sept. 13, 1944, in Raymondville, and married Simona Fuentes, Sept. 7, 1967, in Tarzan. He proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam and received a Bronze Star. He was a selfemployed welder.
Survivors include his wife Simona Morales of Tarzan; daughter Norma Morales-Rodriguez (Martin) of Mansfield; his son David Morales (Kristy Garcia) of Tarzan; daughter Lisa Morales Torres (Landon) of Midland; two beautiful granddaughters, Emily Galindo and Lindsey Rodriguez; a brother Joel Morales (Liz) of Lamesa; a sister Esther Morales of Lubbock, and several nieces and nephews that he loved.
He was preceded in death by his father Guadalupe Morales Sr. (GG Morales), his mother Otila A. Morales, brother Samuel Morales, brother Robert Morales, nephew Augustine Rivas (Auggie), and nephew Joel Morales, Jr. (JJ).
