Lauriano F. Maldonado Jr, 74, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Jan. 19, 2024. He was born July 10, 1949, in Pearsall, to the late Lauriano and Guadalupe Maldonado Sr. He enjoyed visiting with family, listening to good music, and joking around all the time. He also enjoyed carpentry work around his house, doing mechanic work and really loved to do body work and prep.
Fishing and sitting outside on his swing with his BB gun and watching the Dallas Cowboys were some of his favorite’s things to do. His kids were his world!
A visitation and rosary were Jan. 24, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 25, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife Linda M. Maldonado; daughter Belinda Armendarez; sons Freddy Maldonado, Larry Maldonado, Johnny Maldonado, Richie Maldonado, and Joey Maldonado; sisters Oralia Maldonado and Carolina Tondre; and 17 grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Maldonado, Freddy Maldonado, Keegan Maldonado, Ethan Armendarez, Aidan Armendarez, Nathan Armendarez, Joey Maldonado Jr., and Aaron Ruiz.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Stanton Memorial Funeral Home & Chapel.
