MIDLAND - Owen Keith Leoffler was born at Midland Memorial Hospital to Craig and Megan Leoffler on June 12, 2024, at 12:23 pm. He brought joy and love into the world and into the
hearts of his family from the moment he arrived. Owen died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday morning, June 19, 2024.
He is survived by his devoted parents Craig and Megan Leoffler, and his loving older brother Tristian McCallister all of Midland; paternal grandmother Cindy Leoffler of Midland, maternal grandparents Jay and Melissa Chesnut of Midland, and Glen and Lela White of Lenorah, also hold his memory dear.
He is also survived by his paternal Aunt Valerie and Uncle David Sanchez of Houston, and their sons Kyle and Zachary Sanchez, and Uncle Kevin Leoffler of Midland, maternal Aunt Landrie White of Midland, Uncle Keith Jackson of Stanton, and Aunt Callie Jackson, and Taylor Fletcher of Brownwood.
Maternal great-grandparents Richard and Charlotte White of Stanton, James and Debbie Dickens of Midland, and Janice Chesnut of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, will forever keep his spirit close to their hearts.
He is survived by an adoring extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Keith Arthur Leoffler, for whom he was named, as well as paternal great grandparents Marjorie and Robert Wilson, and paternal great grandparents Donald And Joan Leoffler as well as maternal great grandfather, Jimmy Chesnut.
His life, though brief, was a precious gift that his family will cherish forever. In his short time with us, he filled their hearts with immeasurable love and joy. He was a happy, patient, and kind baby who enjoyed countless cuddles and kisses. Through Owen, they felt God's true love, and take comfort knowing he is now in the arms of Jesus.
Owen was his daddy's biggest accomplishment and was deeply loved by all who got to meet him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his gentle presence.
A viewing was June 26, at American Heritage Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be June 27, at 2p.m. at Midland Bible Church; interment immediately following in American Heritage Cemetery.
