STANTON - Raquel Castro Polson, 51 of Stanton, died suddenly on June 22, 2024. A Rosary will be at 7 p.m. on July 2 at Saint Ann's Catholic Church in Midland. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on July 3 at Saint Ann's.
Raquel was born on Aug. 12, 1972 in Fort Worth, to Helen Floyd and John Castro. She graduated from Stanton High School in 1990. She married Dennis Polson on Feb 13, 1994. She loved fishing, making crafts, photography, dancing and times spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Dennis Polson; her sons Taylor and Dillon Polson; her mother Helen Floyd (husband Lovelle Floyd); her father John Castro; brothers Luis Castro, and Nathan Castro (wife Natalie Castro); Carlos Herrera, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Castro, her maternal and paternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grand Companions pet rescue /adoption of Midland and Fort Davis.
