Willo Dean Craft

GARDEN CITY - Willo Dean Craft, 81 of Garden City, passed away on Aug. 31, 2024, after her battle with cancer. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Jolene Messer of Corbin, Ky; two grandsons James and Levi McQueen both of Garden City. She is also survived by four brothers Loren Robinson, Gary Robinson, Melvin Robinson, Jerry Robinson and by three sisters Betty Davis, Debbie Robinson, and Becky Curnutt.

She was born in Howard County on Jan. 27, 1943, and raised in Glasscock County, as 1 of 16 children to Bill and Bertie Robinson. Here she learned the gift of caring from her family and the Lord.

Her heart was always with children. She found boundless joy in nurturing and guiding younger generations, whether through her involvement at church or within her own family. Her gentle spirit and unwavering patience made her a cherished figure in the lives of many, who were often captivated by her loving nature and warmth.

She was a devoted member of her church community, where she found both purpose and joy. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her daily life and in the countless hours she spent helping others and supporting many church activities. She was truly a shining example of living the Lord's word.

She joins her daughter Melinda Craft, her brothers John Robinson, Jim Robinson, Kenneth Robinson, Bill Robinson and Richard Robinson, as well as her sisters Viola Hillger, Mary Francis Hillger and Bertie Wooten in Heaven. She also joins her mother Bertie Robinson and father, W.L. (Bill) Robinson.

Graveside services were Sept. 5 in Garden City by Myers and Smith Funeral Home.
