STANTON - Delores Villa, 56 of Stanton, passed away on Oct. 23, 2024. She was born Sept. 2, 1968, to Jose Angel Villa and Maria Loera in Stanton.
Delores was very active at St. Josephs Catholic Church, where she was a Guadalupana, she was also the first volunteer auxiliary lady at the Martin County Hospital District, and well known as the “popcorn lady”.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Villa and Maria Loera Villa.
Left to cherish her memories are her sisters Mary Ann Marquez and husband Raul, Jeannie Restelli and husband Dean, Angela Lomeli, Lupe Colvin and husband Bobby, Patsy Hernandez, and Judy Molinar and husband Salvador; brothers Jesse Villa Sr. and wife Patricia, Johnny Villa and wife Janie, Tino Villa and wife Flor, and Joseph Villa and wife Rita, as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Cremation services have been arranged with a rosary and funeral mass to be held.
