Patrick Irwin Hall

HORSESHOE BAY Our beloved father Patrick Irwin Hall passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife Toya Elizabeth Hull Hall of Horseshoe Bay. Patrick was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on Oct. 30, 1949. He graduated from Stanton High School in 1968 and served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1974. He spent his 47-year career in the petroleum industry starting with 10 years working offshore in the North Sea of Europe and the remaining 37 years in West Texas. Patrick was extremely hard-working and knowledgeable but also kind and generous with his time. He often helped many others to find work and success.

Patrick enjoyed fishing and the occasional round of golf. He was a fan of many sports teams. He was a self-taught photographer and developed a passion for computers at the advent of the PC.

Patrick and Toya were high school sweethearts and were married for 56 years. They shared a love for Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith, which provided graces that carried them through their many years together.

He leaves behind his son Patrick Blaine Hall with his wife Carrie, grandchildren Patrick Hall Jr. with his wife Alyssa, Ryan Hall with his wife Kloe, Elizabeth Rose Hall, Jacob Elkins, and Grace Hall, as well as great-grandchildren Hannah and Patrick Blaine Hall III.

He was preceded in death by his parents Norman Andrew Hall and Elizabeth Jane Ward Hall, his brother Gary Michael Hall and sister Frances Maureen Hall Merritt, and his daughter Amy Jean Hall.

Patrick’s funeral will be at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bay, on May 24 at 12 pm. He will be laid to rest on May 25 in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Stanton.
