Chris joined the Boy Scouts at the age of seven and reached the rank of Eagle and received the Founder’s Award as a young adult. Chris graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland. On Mar. 9, 1996, Chris married Amber Lynn Pearce, and together they built a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories. He was the proud parent of Cheyenne Pearce Decampli and Kiah Marie Pearce.
Chris’s life was a tapestry of achievements and passions. From his early days at the family business, David Pearce Upholstery, to his role as an account manager in oilfield chemicals, he was admired for his hard work, dedication, and success. His interests include hunting, fishing, car racing, and cornhole tournaments, as well as participating in the Texas Indian Hobbyist Association and Lone Star War Dance. His crowning glory, however, was shooting archery with his cousin, Geremy Moore, where he achieved championship titles in both New Mexico and Texas State Archery. But beyond these accolades, Chris will be remembered most for his sense of humor, kindness, strong faith, and unwavering dedication to his family.
