STANTON - Dan Lee Dugan, 64 of Stanton, passed away on Oct. 15, 2025. Visitation and family viewing were Oct. 21, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Services were Oct. 22, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment followed at Trinity Memorial Park. Danny was born on July 11, 1961 in Snyder, to Floyd Wayne and Mary Dugan. He was a 1979 graduate of Big Spring High School. He was owner of Dugan Companies for forty years.
Danny never met a stranger, a joke he couldn’t tell, or a problem he couldn’t fix with “a little bit of elbow grease.” He made you laugh while changing your tire, fixed your sink and your mood, and could convince you everything was going to be alright – because with him, everything always was. He was a lifelong follower of Christ, loved his family and his pups, Rascoe and Remi, and was a firm believer that all the world’s problems could be fixed with a good cup of coffee.
Danny is survived by his wife Rhonda; his son Dan Jr. (DJ) and wife (Ashley); his daughters Stormie Arguello and husband (Cheyenne), Linsey Larez and husband (Jonathan), and Laci; his grandchildren Pepper, Samson, Nova, Happy, Lucille, and Belen; his mother Mary Dugan; sister Lisa; brother Shelby and wife (Sherrie); his father-in-law Connie Ray Farrington; brother-in-law Tarry Farrington and wife (Dyanne); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Dugan, his brother Brad, and his mother-in-law Lucille Farrington.
The family would like to express gratitude towards Martin County ER, SISD, BSISD, friends, and family.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Big Spring.
