MIDLAND - Rosemary Hollums was called home to her Lord and Savior on Oct. 25, 2025. She was born on Apr. 21, 1931 to Mary Butler McDonald and William McDonald. She married the love of her life Jack Hollums on Dec. 24, 1948. They settled in Midland shortly after and raised their six children. Rosemary was the matriarch of the family. Everyone’s “Port in the Storm”, not only for her children but for Jack especially. He was the breadwinner, but she kept their home a happy place to be and she did it all with a smile and open arms. She loved having a full house. When Grandma was cooking, everyone was on their way. There were hundreds of family meals & gatherings. So much food and especially desserts, no one ever left hungry.
Jack and Rosemary were active members of Bellview Baptist church for many years until their health no longer allowed them to attend. They volunteered and served in many capacities serving their Lord and his people and made several lifelong friends there.
Rosemary is survived by her children Janice and Jerry Parker of Tyler, Patsy and Kerby Gerald of Andrews, Jackie and Ron Brown of Plainville, Connecticut, Eddy and Shelley Hollums of Midland, Rodney and Patti Hollums of Midland, Susan and Marty Graham of Stanton, 16 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and nine Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers and five sisters.
Services under the direction of Nalley, Pickle & Welch will be at Bellview Baptist Church on Oct. 30th at 2pm.
Pallbearers will be Robert Lamberson, Michael Dagenhart, Toby Dagenhart, Ryan Brown, Casey Brown, Justin Hollums, Cody Hollums and Kory Hollums.
