Frank Ingram Evridge

MIDKIFF - Frank Ingram Evridge of Midkiff, died July 21, 2023. He was born Dec. 6, 1944, in Brownwood, to J.B. and Su (Waggoner) Evridge. On Oct. 4, 1969, he married Joyce Schraer in Rowena, and they shared 53 years together. He graduated from Wall High School and headed to Texas Tech University.

Valeria Ann Hoelscher

ROWENA - Valeria Ann Hoelscher, 80 of Rowena, died July 15, 2023, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo. She was born on Oct. 24, 1942, to Mat and Mary (Kubenka) Kalina in Rowena. She married the love of her life, LeRoy Hoelscher, on Aug. 5, 1963, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Paul Thomas Box

STANTON - Paul Thomas Box, 50, of Stanton, died in his home July 11, 2023. He was born Jan. 30, 1973, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Southeastern New Mexico and Northern Nevada. He graduated from DeVry University (in Phoenix, Arizona) with an electronics degree in 1993.

Eugene Edward Hirt

ST. LAWRENCE - Eugene Edward Hirt, 94 of St. Lawrence, died July 12, 2023 at his home. He was the third of eight children born on Jan. 5, 1929 in Olfen, to Frank and Alma (Niehues) Hirt. He attended school in Wall and graduated from San Angelo High School in 1946.

Debbie Ann Barnes

MIDLAND - DebbieAnn Barnes, 47 of Midland, died on June 22, 2023. A visitation was June 29, at the Branch at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory. Services were June 30, at Stonegate Fellowship. Interment followed at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Ben Ella (Milner) Stewart, 87 of Big Spring, died June 14, 2023, at her home after a lengthy illness. A Celebration of Life was on June 22, at Spring Creek Fellowship with Derrick Looney and Lloyd Wells, officiating. She was born Sept.

Dorothy Dooley Brenneman

Dorothy Dooley Brenneman was born Sept. 7, 1938, and died June 22, 2023. She graduated from Uvalde High School, then attended the Universities of Wyoming and Arizona. She finished at Sul Ross State University where she met her future husband, John. They were married in July of 1960.
