MIDLAND - Javier De Lucas Gutierrez was born on July 27, 1955, in Tlaltenango, Zacatecas to Roberto De Lucas and Maria Gutierrez. He was the youngest of four: Alberto, Enrique, Socorro and Javier.

MIDLAND - Terry Lynn Britton, 76 of Midland, died on May 29, 2023. A memorial service will be at 10am, June 2, at Fairmont Park Church of Christ. Interment will follow at 3pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton. He was born on May 27, 1947, in Lamesa, to Fern and Johnny Britton.

Mona Idelle Elmore

FREDERICKSBURG -Mona Idelle Elmore, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Stanton, died May 5, 2023, at the age of 84. She was born on Sept. 3, 1938, in Cherokee. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles 'Chuck' Elmore and parents RT and Margert Altizer.

Roland Tony Moreland

MIDLAND- Roland Tony Moreland died surrounded by family, on May 6, 2023. He was 72. He was born in Midland, in 1951. He was the eldest son of Clark and Betty Moreland. After graduating from Midland High School, he attended Tarleton State University, and later Sul Ross University.

Gloria Salgado Lopez

STANTON - Gloria Salgado Lopez died April 24, 2023. A rosary was April 30, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Memorial mass was May 1, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial of cremains followed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Stanton Memorial Funeral Home.

Joe Terry Helms

GRAHAM - Joe Terry Helms was born May 26, 1968, to Mary and Terry Helms. He was a veteran of the Army Reserve, serving from 1987 to 1995. During that time, he graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
