Dove season opens Wednesday

WEST TEXAS - Dove hunting season for West Texas begins on Wednesday and Texas law makes life easy for hunters. According to Texas Law for hunting animals that don’t require a tag, you can show proof of license from your cell phone. It’s a way to show proof of your hunting license.

GRADY - The transition for Grady’s new head football coach, Jurmain Matta, has been pretty smooth despite the limited time he has had with the team. Matta comes to Grady after spending three years at Bronte. Prior to that, he was an assistant coach for six years for Vance Jones at Balmorhea.

WEST TEXAS - Football season is finally here as teams all across the state took the field for the first practices of 2021. At Stanton, coach Cody Hogan reported 57 kids the first week.
