TEXAS - It seems like every year the Texas University Interscholastic League changes some aspect on how many teams are eligible for the state playoffs. Over the years, Texas has been divided into six different conferences with each conference being subdivided into two divisions.

Stanton’s 8U Lonestar softball team competed in its first tournament in Pecos last weekend. The team had multiple double digit victories and played very well. Two of the girls were selected by the umpires to receive MVP Awards, Michaela and Avery.
