Stanton Lonestar competed in the Hotter Than Heck 18U tournament in Amarillo on July 23-24. The girls finished the tournament with four wins, two losses, and one draw. Even though summer is coming to a close, Lonestar has several more tournaments and college camps before calling it a season.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Thursday, Congressman August Pfluger played in the 2022 Congressional Baseball Game for Charity, an annual tradition between Republican and Democrat Members of Congress. A record $1.7 million was raised for charities that serve children and families.

BRYAN – Shiner’s Ryan Peterson is the player of the year honors on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association’s Class 2A allstate baseball team. Peterson was 14-0 with a 0.53 earned run average with 151 strikeouts in 79 innings. The junior also batted .
