Garden City picked up its first district win of the season last week with an impressive come from behind road performance against Marfa.The Shorthorns took a 20-8 lead early int he second quarter with the Bearkats only points being a Preston Dehlinger 1 -yd touchdown run.

Voters back $40M bond for Glasscock County ISD

- Glasscock County ISD voters have approved a $40 million bond, with 450 voting in favor and 192 opposed. The GCISD Board of Trustees had voted in August to place the single-proposition bond on the November ballot, assuring that it would not lead to a tax rate increase.
