Grady High School graduate Briley Harrell leads the Abilene Christian University “Big Purple” band down the streets of Abilene on Oct. 19, during the ACU homecoming parade. Harrell is the feature twirler for the Wildcats this year. She twirls at each home game in the pre-game show, during Wildcat Walks, and during the halftime performance. She is the daughter of Trey and Sherra Harrell.

WEST TEXAS - Strong early voting turnout continued on Wednesday, as more and more Texans opted to head to the polls ahead of Election Day.Many Texans decided to lets their voices be heard early as nearly seven million Texans have already voted — nearly a third of all registered voters in the state.
